Who’s behind the screen?

I’m Alexa—the designer, strategist, and obsessive eye behind Alnic. I'm a creative and analytical communicator and designer with a B.A. in International Studies and minor in Philosophy from North Carolina State University. I’m now located in beautiful Fort Lauderdale, FL 𖤓

My Mom is a crafter and my Dad owns and operates a few small businesses, so it’s no surprise to me that I am basically melding their passions with Alnic.

In 2008, I picked up a digital camera for the first time and fell in love with capturing images. Then, in 2014, I was accepted into the Center for Innovative Technology at Matoaca High School.

my process

I only work with a few clients at a time, so that each project gets the space and consideration it deserves.

Design shouldn’t be a guessing game or a rushed checklist. My process is structured but flexible—equal parts intuition and intention.

Every project starts with listening: to you, your audience, your goals. From there, I create designs and strategies that supports your vision, solve problems, and set you apart.
